PLACEMENT SERVICES
The Academy has made a commitment to offer job placement services to all graduates.
Placement services are offered and managed within the Career Center. The Center is located on campus and is staffed by full-time Personnel.
TUTORING SERVICES
Tutoring of students is a fundamental responsibility of all instructors and the Student Services Coordinator. Tutoring services will be offered at no charge, in the following manner:
Students may request tutoring from their current instructor. Upon request, the instructor will discuss the need with the student, arrange for a mutually satisfactory time to meet, and conduct the tutoring session.
The Student Services Coordinator is available in theLearning Resource Center (LRC) anytime it is open to assist you with your tutoring needs.
HOUSING
The Academy’s Student Services Coordinator will assist students in locating appropriate housing to attend training. Housing arrangements are usually made prior to the start of training. The Academy does not assume any responsibility for the quality, cost, safety or financial obligations for any student housing. Students contract independently with landlords.
LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER
The Academy provides a Learning Resource Center to its students, availing them of various research and study tools in support of the school’s educational programs. The Learning Resource Center, as a facility, is housed within a large room on campus, conveniently located adjacent to classrooms, the computer laboratory, and the open-air student courtyard. The Center has personal computers for student use, and one for use by the Student Services Coordinator. All machines have Internet access, and contain research-oriented bookmarks for ease of student navigation. All personal computers are networked to a laser printer. Software is Microsoft Windows-based and is appropriate for the support of the school’s educational programs.
