The objective of the Phlebotomy program is to prepare the student for employment as a Phlebotomist with advanced skills to successfully perform venipunctures, blood draws, and capillary collections and prepare blood tubes for laboratory. Graduates of this comprehensive program have the knowledge and skills to obtain an entry-level position.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION
Students will experience a blend of classroom theory and hands-on clinical laboratory training that will enable them to quickly grasp the special requirements of the Phlebotomist.
