18 WEEKS (4.5 MONTHS) CERTIFICATE PROGRAM   OCCUPATIONAL OBJECTIVE

The objective of the Advanced Medical Biller program is to prepare the student for employment as a Medical Insurance Biller with advanced knowledge insurance codes, medical billing practices, and practical medical office administration skills. Graduates of this comprehensive program have the knowledge and skills to obtain an entry-level position in the Medical Billing field.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION

Students will experience a blend of classroom theory and hands-on clinical laboratory training that will enable them to quickly grasp the special requirements of the Medical Biller. In addition, the student will have the unique opportunity to participate in a Medical Biller Externship program.
